” Empower Your Employment ” is our first project we are implementing since March 2019. This is a project idea born during Enter! Access your Social Rights 3rd edition project by the Council of Europe, on May 2017. The main aim of the project is to help young people from different backgrounds, through a set of training courses and individual coaching to recognize their personal skills and competences, improve their self-confidence, learn how to communicate, how to write a motivational letter and a CV, how to define professional competences, how to carry an action plan and assists them in monitoring their professional action plan, ect. The training course and individual coaching makes sure that this young people empower themselves as skilled and confident job seekers and increase their employability possibilities. Through this process, youngsters have the possibility to create new social networks and to be more active in their social life. The project started it’s implementation with more than 140 students between seven faculties of the Polytechnic University of Tirana during the second
semester of the academic year. The second phase of the project continued with the participation of three faculties of Aldent University in Tirana. The third phase of the implementation continued among the youngsters from Kamza and Bathore, mainly based in the youth center of “ATA” group. We had the possibility to start the project from the beginning with the youngster from ATA, following the first sessions on the basic knowledge on how to prepare their portfolio before applying for an interview, reviewing their motivation letter, role playing on verbal and non-verbal communication during an interview and continuing with individual coaching. During July 2019 we had the possibility to represent Albania in Strasbourg during Enter! Week 2019, with the participation of our youth worker and youngsters from ATA group and this was a great opportunity for us to review the process of the project and to exchange experiences with other experts from EU countries. The project is still ongoing we will announce very soon the new dates of its implementation for 2020.
