Enter! Youth Week – OUR LIVES, OUR RIGHTS

ENTER! Youth Week gathered around 350 people, disadvantaged young people, youth workers, representatives of local authorities, the European Youth Forum and the Advisory Council and a group of 12 facilitators and reporters. 
The objectives of the week were to contribute to the review of the implementation of the Enter! Recommendation with inputs from young people and youth workers based on their life realities and their expectations regarding access to social rights , discuss and highlight the role of youth work and local youth policies in promoting young people’s access to social rights, celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Council of Europe, highlighting young people’s commitment and contributions to human rights and democracy, in the framework of the priorities of the French chairmanship of the Council of Europe, develop proposals for short and long-term action to advance young people’s access to social rights by the Council of Europe and by national and local authorities, provide an intercultural learning experience based on creativity and interaction with young people in the city of Strasbourg.
We were represented by one of our youth worker and two participants coming from 

Kamza and Bathore (from“ATA” group ), whom were part of our project “ Empower Your Employability”, during 2019. 

Our youth worker Suhida Dermani covered the role of one of the reporters of the Youth Week, and our youngsters Emilian Syla and Ervis Biba had the possibility to attend the workshops and panel of discussions in different topics, took part on a focus group giving their ideas on the Recommendation and gave their contribution on writing the final Message to the Council of Europe.The final outputs of the work of the participants during the week was writing the – Conclusions and proposals regarding the review of the Enter! recommendation and the realities of access to social for young people from disadvantaged neighborhoods;

 A Message to the Council of Europe at the occasion of the 70th anniversary containing the participant’s expectations and wishes and a final film report of the week and wrote reports /publications with the highlights of the week.
Our project “Empower Your Employability”, based on the Enter! The recommendation will continue by the end of 2019.
